About the artist

Richard Tuttle is a highly influential US artist, who came to prominence in the 1960's and whose long career has had a profound impact on subsequent generations of artists. Since the late-60s he has worked in a wide range of media including print, drawing, sculpture and textiles and his work is known for its subtlety, its refusal to become narrowly defined and its engagement and play with scale.
